We're Shane and Angie Hinchliffe. Our team brings more than 20 years of solar experience to every home and business we work with, and we still believe the best advice is honest advice.
OUR STORY
Real people with local roots
Shane has been a licensed electrician in the solar industry for more than two decades. He started when solar was still new to most Australian rooftops and has worked through every change since.
Before we started Solar Partners in 2014, we spent more than 14 years running Hot H2o, a solar hot water and solar power business. It taught us how these systems perform over the long run, well after installation day.
We live and work in the Blue Mountains, where we're raising our three boys. Being a local family business matters to us. Our customers are our neighbours, and we look after them the way we'd want to be looked after.

Pick a time that suits you and we'll call. From there we book a free on site assessment to look at your roof, your bills and what you want solar to do for you.
2. Get your custom design
We design a solar, battery or EV charging system around your energy use and give you a clear quote, with any rebates you're eligible for shown upfront.
3. Install and ongoing support
Our accredited team installs your system, sets up your monitoring app and walks you through it. After that we're only ever a phone call away.

Who is Solar Partners Australia?
We're a family owned solar and battery retailer and installer based in Blaxland in the Blue Mountains. We've been looking after homes and businesses since 2014, with more than 20 years of industry experience behind us.
Which areas do you service?
We install across the Blue Mountains, including Blaxland, Glenbrook, Springwood, Winmalee, Lawson, Wentworth Falls, Katoomba and Blackheath.
We also work throughout Greater Sydney, including Penrith, Castle Hill, Kellyville, Dural, Chatswood and St Ives, and travel to the Hawkesbury, the Central Coast and regional NSW.

Do you install batteries and EV chargers as well as solar?
Yes. We design and install solar for homes and solar for businesses, add batteries to new and existing systems, and install EV chargers.

Are rebates and finance available?
Yes. We help you access federal rebates (STCs) for solar and batteries, including the Cheaper Home Batteries Program. You can read more on our battery rebates page.
We also offer industry approved green finance payment plans of up to 5 years.

You get a full handover pack, access to your monitoring app and ongoing support whenever you need it.
